La Bonne Vigne Sauvignon blanc 2008
In memory of Eksteen Marais, whose vision and high standards led to the development of a specialised
maturation cellar on Wonderfontein. Grapes were carefully selected by winemaker Stefan Bruwer resulting
in this superb wine - a pleasant, crisp and fruity summer wine. To be enjoyed amongst solid friends.
The Marais Family Merlot 2008
An exceptionally easy drinking, medium bodied wine with a wonderful ripe berry-fruit bouquet and a soft,
round mouthfeel. Enjoy with red meats, chicken, ripe cheeses or any other good food that your heart
desires.
La Bonne Vigne Rosé
Five generations of winemaking heritage have seen Rosé wines created on Wonderfontein, since the late
1800's, inspired and driven by J.P. Marais. In this same manner Paul René Marais has, since the age of 21,
led constant production innovation resulting in the creation of this natural sweet Rosé. Grapes for the La
Bonne Vigne Rosé are harvested at dawn and the wine is infused with summer fruitiness, best served chilled. |

Red Muskadel
Won a silver medal at the Veritas awards and the Wine Magazine's "Good Value" award.
Wonderfontein Red Muscadel (New Release!)
This is a beautiful sweet fortified wine of high quality. Its colour is that of garnet and the texture luscious and
silky. Characteristic Muscat flavours mingle beautifully with the taste of sun-dried raisins. The quality of the
wines produced in the BAR valley are enhanced by supportive irrigation throughout summer months from
the scheme that was the brainchild of Kowie Marais of Wonderfontein in 1920. He initiated the construction
of Lake Marais, as it was known then. Today, the "lake" is known as the Brandvlei dam.
Wonderfontein White Muscadel
Sweet fortified white Muscadel partly fermented on the husks to obtain a fuller true cultivar character.
Red Jerepigo
Sweet fortified red Muskat wine left on the husks for 4-5 days for best colour and flavour.
White Jerepigo
A white Muscat wine cooled down to low temperatures and left on the husks for maximum flavour
extraction.
Wonderfontein Hanepoot
A white fortified Muskat wine made from the very popular Hanepoot variety and left on the husks for a
lengthy period to extract optimum flavour.

Campanile Brandy - The Proud Marais Tradition
Wonderfontein Wine Estate, birthplace of Campanile and Klipdrift, boasts one of the oldest agricultural
distillers licenses in South Africa (1884) and was registered by Erens Marais, son of French Huguenot, Charles
Marais. The tradition of blending mature stock brandy was carried further by Kowie Marais and perfected
by his sons Eksteen and Kosie. Today this legacy lives forth in the fifth Marais generation. For Eksteen, a
keen traveler in those days, Wonderfontein Brandy stood proud amongst other brandies that he encountered on his many travels, as does the great Campanile tower at St. Marks square, Italy, against a
backdrop of magnificent architecture! |
